Waterjet machining is a cold cutting process, making it ideal for boating, automotive, medical, and aerospace applications where fiberglass materials cannot be affected by heat.

The Advantages of KMT Waterjet Cutting and Trimming of Fiberglass Panels

Waterjet cutting fiber glass panels does not delay the cutting process as there is no tool change. With blades, since fiberglass is hard, blades become dull, and replacement takes time and reduces productivity.

There are virtually no limitations in waterjet technology including the use of robotic systems to cut FRP panels, paper, plastic, insulation, rubber, and corrugated cardboard.
