The world of waterjet cutting is familiar territory for GEGE machinebouw. Since our founding in 1999, we have been developing innovative machines and processing lines in which waterjet cutting is integrated.

In many cutting applications, the dimensions of the product to be cut are always the same. The waterjet blade is then mounted in a fixed position. With vegetables and other fresh products, there is a great deal of individual variation in length and thickness. If the waterjet blade were mounted in a fixed position, too much or too little would be cut away.
GEGE Machinebouw has in-house techniques to solve this problem. With these techniques, for example, leek roots and leaves are cut off at precisely the right position. Minimal losses mean maximum yield.
With traditional cutting systems, the blades become blunt quickly, which compromises the cut. Disease transmission can also occur easily.
Even soft and delicate food products can be safely and perfectly cut using this technique. Examples include fish, meat, fruit, tapas, and snack products.
